Sure zero plastic consumed is the ultimate goal, but this is a good stepping stone innovation in these situations. With non plastic ties you can use as well. Oh and the vegetable waste in the bag was in the compostable bin - I think I remember that correctly.

Speaking today on a conference in the Bay of Islands NZ - last night had the privilege of being in a ceremony here in this building on the spot where the Treaty of Waiting was signed 180 years ago. It was special to give a nod to that momentous piece of history.
